Well the weather was awful the week before the Pageant, what could we expect on the day?
Well at 6am when l came out of ASDA after some last minute shopping it was lashing down. but by 12pm when the floats started to assemble it wasn't too bad it was a little breezey and some fine rain but it then held off for the rest of the parade and crowning in in Longford Park. There was quite a few people who turned out to support us on route and there a number who were at the park.
This is one of the best days in Stretford when the community gets together and really show what we are made of, lets hope it continues and the powers that be don't surround it in red tape.
Stretford Pageant were raising money for cancer research uk this year.
