Bus services affected by Trafford road closure

Bus users in Sale are being warned of a diversion due to the closure of Woodhouse Lane.
GMPTE is advising passengers that Woodhouse Lane will be closed from Tuesday 5 August until Sunday 17 August due to resurfacing work on Washway Road. Stops on Washway Road for services towards Sale will also be closed during the work.

Bus services 16 and 19 travelling from Cherry Lane towards Altrincham will turn left onto Manor Avenue, right onto Moss Lane, right onto The Avenue and right onto Washway Road. Return journeys will follow the same route in the opposite direction.

Passengers are advised to use the stops before and after the diversion to get on and off these services.
Bus users can check their services before travelling by calling Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 (calls from landlines cost 10p per minute, mobile and landline networks may charge additional tariff costs). Lines are open from 7am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am to 8pm at weekends.
