Action for Sustainable Living Climate change is a global problem
Action for Sustainable Living are organising a film evening in Stretford on Wed 17th June at St Matthew's church hall.

Climate change is a global problem, and yet each one of us has the power to make a difference. Even small changes in our daily behaviour can help prevent greenhouse gas emissions without affecting our quality of life. In fact, they can help save us money.

Aims:

Your chance to ask questions about Climate Change: see what is really happening to our planet, find out some simple ways of reducing our impact, and enjoy some lovely free cake!

Itinerary:
Intro - 5 mins (AfSL - who we are, what we're aiming to achieve etc)
Film 1 - 10 mins, something introducing the themes/science related
to climate change issues
Speaker: Marc Hudson from the Campaign for Real Action - 20 mins.
Break for refreshments, mingling etc - 15-20 mins
Film 2 - 10 mins, possibly "Wake up, freak out"
Workshop - 20 mins...could be an eco footprinting exercise or energy saving quiz?
Film 3 - 10 mins, funny cartoon of positive actions
Close - 10 mins (AfSL) could include the short "U @ 50" clip
Total length of event - 2 hrs approx
